Breathworks Mindfulness for everyday living/stress
Delivered by And Breathe
This is a 4 session course, running on alternate Saturdays starting on 21st Mar 2020. Each session lasts 4 hours and starts at 1:30pm.
Course materials include a practice workbook, "The Little of book of Mindfulness" and the supporting audio tracks either as a CD or a download. You will also receive 16 hours face to face teaching time plus weekly email contact to support home practice.
In order to cover the costs of the course, AndBreathe would like you to consider making a donation between £80 and £150. We also aim to be as inclusive as possible and offers a concessionary fee of £40, which includes course materials, to those in need. This may include those who can evidence low income, students or those in receipt of benefits. Please do not hesitate to enquire as to whether you will be eligible for the reduced rates or fill in the intial booking form selecting concession option.

Pre-booking is absolutely essential due to the nature of the course. Participants will be contacted shortly after booking to ensure the course is a good fit.
Is This Course Suitable For Me?
DISCLAIMER.
This course is not suitable for people in active phases of depression and must not be seen as a treatment for such. For this we would encourage you to speak to your GP before booking. It can however, be a helpful aid to those in management phases in collaboration with GP or for those who want support to prevent relapse. Due to the vulnerability of those recently bereaved or who have suffered a recent trauma it is advisable to also speak with your GP before booking. If you are in any doubt as to whether this course is for you at this time please fill in the contact form and enquire around your concern or a speak to your GP or mental health support team.
This course is based upon a particular teaching model to support wellbeing and on the course you will learn and practice skills which can be applied to your individual situation. However, this course is NOT a replacement for therapy from a mental health professional and the sessions will not be used for therapeutic group work.
